Do you know what I hate?! I hate how the Christian world just sits back and judges people like Miley Cyrus, Michael Jackson, Brittany Spears, to name a few. There are reasons why they do (or did in Jackson's case) the things they do! There is always a story behind everything! There is always a reason for things!
If it was your friend's daughter who did a pole dance, you would rally around and pray for the family and pray for the daughter! Why is it any different with these celebrities?! I do not condone the things they do, but on so many levels what we as the Church have done is so much worse!
Jesus commanded us to love and pray for each other! He commanded us to not judge others before ourselves! If you have a problem with something someone is doing, pray for them and try to do something about it! Don't just sit back and write a stupid review on your stupid website about how Miley Cyrus is a bad influence to people. If people actually cared about the person Miley or Brittany are, maybe they wouldn't be so inclined to do the things they do! Love them! They want to be noticed! They want attention! Give them positive attention! We have been commanded! Follow through with that commandment!
Get with it people!

Encouragement of the Day
Good Morning,
So, I am kind of a nerd when it comes to some things, I absolutely love to do puzzles, big complicated 3-D puzzles and regular puzzles.
The other night I was thinking about how a puzzle is made, it can't be complicated, just a big sheet of cardboard with a picture glued to it and then they cut the picture into 750 or a 1000 or 2000 pieces.
It is the cutting part that got me thinking. You know how we hear so many times that God is the Potter and we are the clay? Well, I got to thinking, God is also our puzzle-put-together-person. Throughout our lives, we get hurt, and scorned, and most of us have felt like our heart was torn to pieces in some way.
But God sits back and puts us back together, piece by piece, until what was broken will become a beautiful picture again, possibly more beautiful than before we were hurt. God is gentle with every piece, taking care to keep the pieces from being bent or wrinkled.
This reminds me of one of my favorite songs by Zoegirl, called, Unbroken. click here to listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsl9-X3rLbI
Unbroken
Fallen to pieces
(I am undone)
The things you said
(Manipulation)
I trusted you like a fool
While you made all the rules
So you searched me out
And you took me down
To be unbroken, what would that be?
If words that were spoken, had not shattered me
If I was unbroken, I’d never know
The beauty of hope, and how far grace will go
To be unbroken
To be unbroken
The things you found
(To use against me)
Have lost their sound
(Where mercy and truth meet)
I fell to the Father’s feet
His words washed all over me
And all the scars you made
Watch them fade away
To be unbroken, what would that be?
If words that were spoken, had not shattered me
If I was unbroken, I’d never know
The beauty of hope, and how far grace will go
To be unbroken
To be unbroken
I’ve tasted bitter, tasted sweet
Embraced the victory, and some defeat
I’ve tasted bitter, tasted sweet
I found the beauty in the place they meet
To be unbroken, what would that be?
If words that were spoken, had not shattered me
If I was unbroken, I’d never know
The beauty of hope, and how far grace will go
To be unbroken, what would that be?
If words that were spoken, had not shattered me
If I was unbroken, I’d never know
The beauty of hope, and how far grace will go
To be unbroken
To be unbroken
To be unbroken
To be unbroken...
God bless you today, I pray that if you are hurting, that you will be reminded everyday of God's faithfullness. He won't let any pieces of your heart fall down, he cherishes every one.
God bless!
Love
Katie
